- Use your platforms to build trust. Trust is currency you can cash in during a crisis. And you must prepare for crises. Consider this: there are currently 83 companies on the Grab Your Wallet boycott list. 83!
- Use your channels to listen. The speed at which messages are delivered and received, at which deals are made and perceptions shift, is dizzying. You need to monitor your brand and your reputation and listen to your constituents. Social media is an excellent way to do that.
